On Some Features of the Collective Bargaining Institution in Russia and the EAEU States: Comparative Legal Aspects

Abstract

This article is examined the development of the collective bargaining system in Russia and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. It highlights some of the specific features of collective bargaining development in various historical periods in the states that were formerly part of the USSR. It is concluded that modern collective agreements in these countries generally comply with the key provisions of the Model Law on Social Partnership and the Model Labor Code of the CIS. According to the Model Law social partnership is defined as interaction between employees and employers, with the participation of government agencies, to achieve coordinated decisions in the sphere of labor and socio-economic policy.
